Derek, Lindsay and Jonathan showed up at our house about 11:30 and it was announced that we were going to a Nashville Predators Hockey game! The game wasn't until 7:00 CT so we left early to do some sight seeing and hangin' out.
Opry Mills Mall was our first stop. Although that was pretty much just so that I could get something to eat because I hadn't eaten at all that day. Next it was to Opryland Hotel to walk around the gardens a bit.
It appeared that they hadn't gotten all of the Christmas decorations up but they did have some.

Then we went to the Parthenon:
And from there to the hocky game where I got another surprise.
Here's some of the action. (Lynn these were all shot at 1600 ISO and there was very little noise which was a great surprise to me.) The predators won 4-2 over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
So thanks to my wife I had a wonderful weekend and a great early birthday!

Well happy birthday Scott! I think you got pretty lucky with my sister, and I think she may have just raised the bar for all future birthday presents in your family.
Carrie is right...you should remember the word "DIAMOND" when shopping for my birthday!
