Alaska Would Be Fun!

We're trying to plan our trip to Alaska. We're hoping to go around the first week in May. Right now airline tickets are a bit too high! We're hoping they will go down soon. Here are some pictures that our friend, Jonathan sent us of Alaska. He lives in Seward, Alaska. Hopefully in May we'll have our own Alaska pictures to post.

We spent two weeks in Homer for our honeymoon -- it was AMAZING, & we can't wait to go back!!

(Hi! I'm from Monica's blog.)

Awesome! We are really excited! We are going to see Denali National Park while we're there too! It should be a lot of fun!

Homer is about a 7 hour drive from where we'll be staying...would you suggest we make the drive to see it?

I don't know if I'd go with a 7 hour drive happening. 'Course the drive would be beautiful, I bet! We stayed in a cabin on the side of a mountain across from a glacier. It's an easy-going town that has taxis that cost hardly anything & just lots of mellow kind of stuff perfect for two people who are hanging out in a cabin. But, if you do go the drive, you can do glacier hiking, see the eagles nesting, eat amazing halibut, & find some souvenirs . . . if it sounds like this is all stuff you're going to be doing anyway, then probably not worth the drive . . .

But your friend who lives there would know best, I would think! Are you going to ask him about Homer?

I will ask him about it, but he just moved there in December...so he doesn't know a whole lot about what to do. I'll have him ask around at work though. I know Scott would love to the eagles nesting!
