Good News/Bad News/Good News

The good news is...we have car insurance...

The bad news is...we have a deductible...

The good news is...we have a savings account that is holding some money for just an emergency like this...

By the way, ING is an awesome savings account! We highly recommend it! It pays 4.5% and is very user friendly! Plus, if you get someone like us to refer you and you open it with $250 they will give you $25 for FREE! Yay for free money. Anyway, enough with the commercial break.

So yea...I was just backing up...minding my own business and out of nowhere this tree jumps out and hits me! Can you believe that?!?! The trees around here are out of control!

We were supposed to go to Virginia this weekend, but Scott is sick with a sinus infection. The doctor said bronchitis is on the way next, so he really needs to stay home and rest. We need to be well because we leave to Alaska in 12 days. Plus, I don't really want to drive the car like this.

How are you feeling today Scottie? Mark is sick and I plan on going to the clinic after work today. I want the warm weather to come and stay!

The car doesn't look that bad...how's the tree?

Well, we are going because...Scott has always wanted to go, but we are going now because our friend moved up there in December and needs some company. Scott is really into photography of nature, so Alaska is high on the list of places to see. We are going with another couple and we are all flying. We will be visiting Anchorage, Seward, Homer, Soldotna, Fairbanks and Denali National Park. We are also planning to take a day cruise in the Kenai Peninsula. We are leaving on May 2nd and getting home on May 13th. There will be lots and lots of pictures for you all to see when we return!
