The Alaskan Wildlife - Bald Eagles

Most of the Eagles we were able to see were in Homer, but Seward also has its fair share of them. The very first day we were there we were lucky enough to have a mature eagle land in a spruce right over top of our heads.

When we got to Homer we were able to see both mature and immature eagles feeding. They surprisingly let you get fairly close. Most of these were taken about 20 yards away.

And they were even nice enough to pose for me.
