We really enjoyed having an extra day off this past weekend. We got off work about an hour and a half early on Friday and headed for Virginia to visit Scott's family. We had a very nice time and were happy to be able to stay until Monday afternoon. We usually leave after work on Friday and come home late Sunday night. So...the extra day was wonderful!
While we were in Virginia, we did some "spot searching"...looking for some good places to take pictures. We want to get some new pictures of Landon & Taylor and also a picture of the whole Boyd family. We found some really nice places. We are all going to be in Virginia the week of July 4th. We are exciting to see the Boyd family...we haven't seen them since Christmas.
We don't really have anything else to report. We will be home this weekend...probably doing some yard work. Next weekend is our anniversary and we will be heading down to Gulf Shores for a few days. Adam is making the drive with us, but he will be staying the weekend with Carrie in Mobile. We will also stay one night with her...we are leaving after work on Friday night and will spend that night with her since we will be getting in so late. On Saturday afternoon, we will drive toward the beach to spend two nights in a bed & breakfast. It should be fun!
