A Hot Night
Well...if it isn't bad enough that we have the bathroom situation going on...things really heated up last night around midnight. Philip was welding the pipes for the bathroom and a spark must have got away from him...it then decided it would be a good idea to land on some insulation. Now you're probably thinking "just dumped some water on it"...that would have been a good idea, but our water was shut off since we were working on the pipes. So, I see a glow coming from under the house. I called the fire department and went outside while Philip and Scott scrambled to get the fire out. They were able to put it out before anyone got there. It was a good thing too because our fire department is volunteer, so it took them a few minutes longer to get there. They said we did a good job putting it out. They also said that shouldn't have burned like that...it was just a freak thing that happened. Thankfully, there doesn't appear to be any damage.

I believe you should kick Murphy out of your house. He is causing too much trouble! I am thankful that noone was hurt...and that your house is still standing.
Yikes, guys! I'm glad you're all okay! Will definitely be awesome to see before & after pics when this is all done.
We will have tons of pictures! Lindsay and Derek have been helping us and Lindsay has been focusing on photography each step!
wow!!!! I am so sorry to hear that. Great job doing the right thing. I am afraid I would just turn hysterical and be of no use at all
