What a Pain...

You may be thinking "What the heck, Scott and Beth have not posted in 9 days!"...or maybe you aren't. Anyway, we have been quite busy...especially this week! On Saturday I had the great idea to remove the 1970's ugly popcorn ceiling from our bathroom. Well, everything was going just fine until we realized that the wall behind the bathtub was ruined by mold! Gross...this is so nasty! So...we have been staying at Derek and Lindsay's house since Sunday because we don't have a bathroom. Actually, our whole house is now trashed and we don't have water either. We hired my brother, Philip to come help us do the work. When we are done our bathroom will have...not only a ceiling without popcorn ugliness on it...but also a new tub with tiled walls, a new sink, new tile floor and new paint...we ought to go a ahead and get a new toilet and then nothing would be the same. Anyway, I will post some pictures of before, after and in between later...hopefully this weekend! We'll see how long it takes. Oh...we are also moving our washer and dryer and building a closet for it. Since Philip already had to go under the house to fix the water lines for the bathroom he said he could do the washer and dryer too! If you remember from the pictures that we posted of our house...the washer and dryer is just sitting in the kitchen. When we are done it will be hidden in a closet!
