...is home with Jesus. This morning around 12:40 I got a call from my mom saying that my granddaddy had gone to be with our Lord. He passed away around 12:30. We are thankful that he is no longer suffering. His funeral will be on Tuesday and he is being buried at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Scott and I are in Williamsburg and will not be home for the funeral. I talked with my mom before we left town and she said we should just go ahead on our trip because we didn't know when he was going to die. I was hoping we would be back for the funeral, but I'm glad he didn't have to suffer anymore. He has been sick a long time. Please keep our family in your prayers.

Beth...I will continue to bring your family before God's throne of Grace. Thankfully, your grandpa is rejoicing with the angels right now! I will pray specifically for you on Tuesday. I know it will be hard not to be at the funeral. I love you!
I'm sorry, Beth ~ I'm glad that even though you guys can't be at the funeral, you are together. Being alone during these things is never any good.
