Update on Adam
Well, the doctors said that they were going to let Adam go home today...they had even discharged him already, but he threw up again. So, the surgeon said that he didn't want him to go home. He was also still running a fever this morning of almost 103, so it is just as well. Hopefully, he will be much better tomorrow! He has been so sick! The average appendix is about the size of your pinkie finger...or 2-3 inches long. Adam's was about 6 inches long! It was actually wrapped around his intestines...which is why they thought they had seen some diverticulitis. No wonder he was so sick!

Man! What a terrible thing for Adam! I am so glad you guys were home still. God was definatley watching over him. As if He isn't always...you know what I mean. I'm glad the doctors got right on it, no telling what mess they would have found if they had waited any longer. Why the temperature today? DO they know
We'll be praying for him.
I think it is just because there was so much infection in there. He is having trouble getting over it! It was really bad! Maybe after another night of IV antibiotics he will be better.
Before we went to bed on Saturday night I told him to wake us up if he got any worse. I've already had this done, so I thought it was his appendix. When we got to the hospital he could hardly stand up.
Sorry to hear he didn't get to go home yet. But its for the bedst he stays to get fully recovered!
